Good morning,

I have a 2016 Tahoe, and I have had some rumbling sounds when driving(like driving over rumbling strips). Some days it does it and some days it does it all the time while driving. Seems to occur while traveling 40-65 mph. Speed up and slow down it occurs. We thought it could be the transfer case but changed that and it is still making that rumbling sound. It seems to be coming from the rear. Any thoughts?

I agree with @Blackcar. It had a similar experience with the 8 speed in my 2017. Felt like rumble strips under certain conditions. A tranmission flush with new fluid fixed it. I think it was for the 8 speed only?

Do you drive in AUTO 4wd? If so, put it in 2 HI and see what you get. Using AUTO on dry pavement puts undue wear on the whole driveline. If you use AUTO, are all 4 tires the same beans, size, and tread depth?

No, I am driving it in 2 HI. I was in auto and hence why I had to change the transfer case.
