Howdy, all...

As if $1500 in repairs - after hitting a sewer block - weren't enough, I've got other repairs on my plate. A/C compressor and blower are busted, both O₂ sensors need replacing, and the crankshaft sensor is causing me trouble and a check-engine light.

More pressing, though, are two developing areas of rust, present when I got the truck. (Did I mention that I only have 91,473 miles?) One is right above the windshield on the driver's side, and the other is above the left barn door. Refer to the pictures.

My questions are:
1) Are they fixable at all?
2) If the answer to #1 is 'yes', then how would I go about fixing these spots?
3) How much would it cost to fix?

Many thanks for y'all's time. Pictures are below.

SunlitComet, I have zero experience in either department. I might get those issues fixed right before I repaint, then.

Gzes, I'm not a hundred percent sure. The car came from Corpus and the original owner was an elderly guy. Truth be told, I don't think he ever parked it in the garage; that'd also explain my faded paint and cracked/brittle dash cover. I've seen rust much worse, so I ain't too concerned. :D

Where inTx are you? The windshield area isn't that bad of a fix. The rear will take a little but more work but still not bad. Probably just paint the whole roof. If you're anywheres near houston let me know and we can take care of it for you

Thanks, fiatdale. I'm actually going to be moving to College Station around the middle of next month, so I'll be around there. Would you mind PMing me more about your shop?

the rust on the front was more than likely from a bad windshield replacement and is probably much worse than it looks now! ive seen that 100s of times
