I'm thinking about keeping a pair on hand on spare rims just for during any storms. We really don't get but 1 or 2 a year anymore. Just to slap them on for a day or two until roads clear up.

I use to Own a RWD AstroRS(had 4.10 gears and some wide factory tires) anyway it was unruly in the snow until i got a nice narrow set of snow tires... it transformed it into a very capable vehicle in Northeast Pennsylvania winters, I was a ski instructor/coach and often needed to be at ski areas early on the cold slick roads. I wouldn't push it hard as its still RWD, but it never left me stuck thanks to the tires.Firstt time owning rwd truck . I wonder how is rwd tahoe handles snow ? I am thinking geting 265/60R17 Nokian Tyres Remedy WRG5 tires need to find rims
