Yeah, if there's still a warranty you should be good!
You can have oil in the coolant with a bad head gasket but it's not common that way ... the oil up there isn't under any pressure, the coolant is so the laws of pressures say the high pressure will goto the low pressure area.
If you have a VSP and get them to pay let me know who you have. I've been looking for one but all the ones I've found turned out to be scams when I researched them. ( VSP is a vehicle service plan right?)
