I know this has been covered about a million times already and I'm sorry if this question has already been searched. My fuel gauge does not function properly, when I accelerate it does go towards the F but when I'm at a stop it goes back to E. My question is if I put a aftermarket fuel gauge (maybe like a sunpro gauge) will it read the fuel level correctly? Being that its the cluster giving me my problem? Thanks in advance, also I apologize if this is the wrong thread.

Ah that's what I though at first also but just a little while ago I just noticed that the neddle shook around back and forth really fast and that happened for a split second when I turned the key to on. I turned the key back off to see if I could make it do it again but it didn't. I hope I can spend the 20 dollars on a small gauge instead of the 240 dollar fuel pump.

Oh well I guess I'm going to have to swap that out. Thanks for the replies.
