I'm kicking around the idea of painting my Tahoe satin white. My question is, would you take care of it the same as a gloss finish?

have you considered a wrap? ive seen some AMAZING matte pearl white wraps

good thing about a wrap is now days the vinyl is super high quality and lasts quite a while, and then when it starts looking aged you just peel it off and the paint under it has been perfectly preserved....

With wrap you can take care of it just like you would paint and most have around a 7-8 year life span depending how how well you take of it. Some last even longer

Get a good shop to do a wrap friend just paid over 2 grand to do his and it's already peeling 4 weeks later only plus side to dip is it's easier to fix spots and you could 're do it 5 times before your paying wrap money , though wrap will always look better imo
