Thanks Boss, Im getting it as I go. Ill do a writeup when completed. Here are some more pics of the progress.

And here is a sneak peak of my next project, its my 85 suburban. Got to pull the 305 to drop a stout 408 in it. Which is a 6.7 liter folks.
I was going to put the 5.3 in there, but nah.

Well its coming together, Update wise today I got the tranny bolted back to the engine, flexplate bolted to tq converter, starter in, compressor in, powersterring in, waiterpump lines & all hoses are in, etc, Got the wires and sensors pluged in at the bottom of the engine, All wires ziped tied nicely under-bottom. ONLY majpr thing left is intake manifold, fuel lines, shroud, its & bits, LOL.
It was a ***** to get my trans back into position, had to pull off the wye pipe and xmember, pivot, and lift while on the jack stand, free air. If I make a intake block off for the egr tube tonight, I maybe running tomorrow. But I got to get my wye pipe stude drilled out with new ones.

I will tonight, Its all ready to RUN, YES! Need oil filter, oil, coolant, tranny fluid 1st.... Im just happy im at this point finally. I mean I got everything bolted from front to rear. My truck was in a gazillion peices. Engine swap, lead to Tranny drop/reinstall, as well as driveshaft, rear end reconect.
I cycled to On position a few times, everything checks A-OKAy so far. I am expecting to have 1 CEL, for the EGR removal. Blackbear tune will be in order as well. Ill keep posted what happens, but it will be real soon. Just smells good to be back in the truck. LOL

Ohh yea, Friday I will replace steering shaft, and Heater core T fittings too. Things got broke on the removal.
I cycled to On position a few times, everything checks A-OKAy so far. I am expecting to have 1 CEL, for the EGR removal. Blackbear tune will be in order as well. Ill keep posted what happens, but it will be real soon. Just smells good to be back in the truck. LOL

muhhhhaaa, just like I expected...
Fired up on the 1st start! Still need steering shaft and heatercore T fitings, coolant before I can drive. Then a BB tune is in order. Oh yea, she sounds GOOOOOD! Nice & quite too, tomorrow I have a chance to get a used Gibson exhaust off a Yukon. Its a single in dual out, so I plan to chop off my muffler, weld that one up. Then I will dump the dual right behind the muffler. So it will exhaust under my truck instead of the passenger side. Should make it sound real nice. As will as look good too.
I mean Ill post some pics later today, but the engine PURRS, has the same spark plugs it came with, as well as all the sensors it came with minus me change the oil pressure sending unit. I did ohm out each sensor and plug to make sure everything was A-okay. But that was a absolute steal of a performance upgrade. A cam is in order for xmas.
