i have used the scosche interfaces regularly over the last 6 yrs, and have yet to have any problems with them. haven't used the gmos-04 for a few years, but i never had problems like i have read about others having with them.

I think I am having a problem with mine now. I just installed a kenwood nav unit and the interface is having a problem keeping up with the higher amperage rating the unit needs to function, thus going into safe mode

i purchased the gmos-04 because it retained chime and all the goodies with one module instead of multiple.

I got it off ebay for $84. The interface i recieved did not have rca's but had regular wire hook ups for the speakers. Still have fader and balance and everything seems to be working like factory except it doesnt get very loud. i have the potentometer (spell) all the way down for sq but doesnt get near as loud as factory. thinking of bypassing bose amp. also got a little feed back when operating lights manually but only had it for 2 days now so who knows what we'll find.

i have the gms 04 and the matching axxess steering wheel control harness, no problems so far. Onstar, chimes, and all steering wheel controls operate as they should.
