So my daughter was in a hurry because she was going to be late to work and backed into our garbage bin. Passenger side tail light comes loose and she doesn't even realize until after she gets to work. It's secured with duct tape for now but one of the screws that mounts the whole assembly to the body is missing. I didn't actually see it, but sounds like the lens where the screw goes in broke. Either way, that screw is long gone. Anyone have any clue, other than a junk yard, I could find that a screw to replace the one that's missing? The rest of the light is functional, I'd just like a new lens/housing (I plan on moving the old circuit board into the new lens).

All of the screws in that lens should be the same size and length. IIRC there are only (2) of them in each lens. Remove the lens and use one of the remaining screws as a reference when you go to the hardware store to buy another. There is a metal clip that each screw threads into, attached to the lens. You'll understand better once the lens is removed for further assessment.
If you broke the lens where the screw is currently missing (sounds likely from your description), then you'll need to replace the lens in it's entirety.
It may serve you well here to remove the (1) good lens that wasn't hit just for reference.

^^^X2^^^ It is a simple painted sheet metal screw, very easy to replace with an equivalent. If the screw is not visible when the rear door is closed, then I would suggest putting a small washer under the screw head, so that it can help stabilize the broken lens.

If you purchased the 25 pack would you have an extra or two to send to the OP? If he wants them?
I would but he should be able to go to any local hardware store...or even a local auto parts store and find them pretty easy. And it would faster. Unless he lives near me, then he can just come by and get some.

FWIW, the actual part number is 11609539 for this truck. I wanted two and could have bought them from a local dealer for $6.62 each but instead bought them from Rockauto for $3.53 each plus $3 or $4 for shipping. Also bought both new rear lenses while I was at it. Swapped the original board into the new lenses (read of many issues with aftermarket boards) and replaced both sides. The lenses were TYC and the driver side was perfect. Passenger side, which is what was broken, was a little problematic, both in getting it to fit in and in getting the gasket to sit right. There's a little post blank or something that you have to finagle around but it was doable. Glad I did the driver's side too though, because when I took it off, a piece broke or was broken. So it would have been next anyway.

Why not try your local hardware store, ACE Hardware, True Value, Lowes, Home Depot? Bring in one of the others to match it up and see what they have.
