Was reading another post, and wanted to know has anybody did this seafoam induction thing with a vacuum line for a 2000+? I use it in the gas tank cause thats all I know, and I like how my shit sounds like its cammed afterwards! Someone chime in if it can be done, what are the benefits of doing it that way, and how to do it.

Yeah, I've ran it through my vacuum hose and it worked out pretty well. I usually do about half in the vacuum and half in the gas tank, it's up to you though.

Autozone or any other auto-parts place sells the stuff
It helps to break down and get rid of all of the carbon build up in ur engine, which intern restores power lost from the initial build up.
and btw it's just called seafoam it's actually a liquid. :)

I've done it to on my '02 denali, worked pretty good, just pour half of a can into something so you can see you are only sucking up half a can and suck it up kinda fast through the vaccum tube at the brake booster , just fast enough to not kill the motor but suck it all up in a speedy manner, as soon as it is all sucked up have someone turn the truck off ASAP, let it sit for 10 or more minutes and then start it back up, rev it up a few good times and go for a spirited drive!!

here's a pic on my 05 where the vacuum line is located where I just did mine. benefit you ask? according to seafoam, it cleans the pistons I believe. you can check out their video on their website under motor treatment. I did it exactly how they say to...1/3 can through the vacuum line(this part takes longer, just gotta do a little at a time to keep it from stalling until you want it stall), 1/3 where you put the oil, and the other 1/3 in the gas tank

took me a minute to realize that was the hose, cuz it looked rigid, like metal, but it flexes

now....I didn't get any smoke after this process, when everyone else gets a shitload....maybe I should have used a different line? Anybody?
