I just bought a seafoam the other day but haven't used it yet. In an 04, I believe the correct hose is behind the engine (driver's side), near the spark plug.

Please correct me if I'm wrong coz I also want try the seafoam. I saw a thread on this in TF and Z71 forums

Ok....finally got back around to it.....the vaccum hose is underneath the vortec cover....unscrew that and on the throttle body...the silver box looking piece that is behind your intake manifold their is a rubber hose connected...when you pop it off you should hear your engine bog down a bit....thats how you know you have the correct hose...i didnt get a big smoke show....actually i got very little smoke..... and i was a little dissapointed but oh well...

U r right, there is a hose that runs from the TB down to the block. U want to take the hose off the block on the passengers side and put the seafoam in so it is sucked right into the TB. If u have someone give the gas pedal a rev it will work better. Instead of sucking it u can also just pour it in the hose.....

just for the info it looks like you have a hydraboost brake system... aka no vaccum line.

yes it is on the passenger side right at the throttle body, its the biggest hose in the area (not the coolent hose obviously)

make sure you remove the hose from the BLOCK not the THROTLE BODY... it wont hurt either way but it wont work if you do it wrong.
