Sealers & Adhesives - Post-Valve Job

Hey, I decided after all the problems with those head bolts, to just pull the heads & intake and have them gone through.

When I am putting this back together, I need some assistance with materials. I have the GM Tech manuals, but hate to use their sealers and adhesives if there are cross-referenced parts available.

Here is what they are calling for:

- Head Bolts GM part # 12346004 Is there another sealant choice?

- Evap. Purge Solenoid Bolt GM # 12345493 Adhesive

- Intake Manifold Bolts GM # 12345382 Adhesive

- Intake Manifold/Head Bolts Gm # 12346141

Any help here would be appreciated - getting the heads back on Saturday and ready to get in back on the road.

best sealant I have seen, is Toyota black sealant.

What about the different threadlockers for head bolts verses rockers and valve covers?

id check and see if the factory replacement head bolts dont allready have threadlocker on them. and just reuse the others, when i did my knock sensors i reused all and no probs.
