In an earlier post, I had mentioned that I am a ham radio operator (KD0RVY). One of the struggles I am having is not just finding how and where to install my Yeasu FT-2900 in my '09 LT, but coming to terms that I may just have to make holes in my flawless interior (dash, center console, etc.) that I REALLY don't want to make. With that said, if there were a way to plug/fill the holes up with some sort of color matching epoxy or something I would feel much better about making those holes. Is there such a product?Maybe even something that could be inserted into a seam or something in the dash or center console that would allow me to mount to that instead?

I came across a product called Sugru. This might be a possibility. Not sure if anyone in here knows about it, but I did see a video where a dude patched some holes in a center console of a Porsche, which is also wrapped in leather, and it turned out pretty decent. Sugru can also be color matched. Going to be looking into that further and maybe get some just to play with and see what i think. :)
