This is about the time when Jennifer will jump in and say.

Hey there,

I am deeply sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your vehicle. I cannot guarantee anything but I would like to look into this for you. Private message me mentioning this tread with your full name, address, phone number, VIN, and exact mileage, I can get started with creating a case for you. We will do everything in our power to make sure it is not a employee named Scott or Clark that tell you once you are at the dealership that there is nothing they can do for you. We will also make sure the cashier who takes you seat inspection charge is also not named Scott or Clark.

Scott Clark is always on local TV sponsoring something or another.

Never bought from them though

"Scott Clark here again..." Yeah. No sh*t. Get off my TV because I am tired of looking at you. Sheesh...

At least Amy Rogers is nice to look at....

UPDATE.... Took the seat back off to see what's going on. Figured it out. For those who haven't had them apart yet, here is what you've got.

Here is the seat back removed- I don't know if the way the elastic from the pocket top is tied is factory or not.... The other one is buggered up completely.

Here is the back of the seat without the back- its hard to see but those molded arms on the seat back clip to the metal framework behind the upholstery in the seat.

Here is what I have figured out to be wrong with mine- the bottom clips are all bent up and that is why the seat backs keep falling down. Nothing to hold them on the bottom.

I tried to bend them back straight but they are pretty much shot. They need a shot of Cialis to keep standing up. I ordered a new one from the dealer and if it works out OK will replace the other side too. If it isn't/wasn't worth the money ($60), I'll see what else I can do to the other side. One side has a tore up pocket anyway so I'll replace that one first.

I think so. I'll let you know when they come in.

I might fix the one with the good vinyl pocket with epoxy to save a few bucks... Gotta stimulate the economy you know. And if I don't buy something every once and a while, the parts guys will stop getting me prices for everything that looks half interesting. They are basically pricing me a new suburban, one pn at a time.

:Big Laugh:

Where in NC are you?

Take some abs plastic and epoxy it to the flat part.

I actually bought a staple gun to affix the leather to the plastic when I did mine in leather.

I'm up the 85 from you in Rockwell (south of Salisbury on 52).

I'll see how the new one coming in looks and then see how I might want to fix the second.

The map pockets are pretty mickey mouse. If they ever get used they pretty much come apart.
