Agent 9, May 12, 13:48 PDT: Request #475337 "Customer Support" was closed and merged into this request. Last comment in request #475337: I would like the company CEO's direct contact information. Going through the "support" has been a futile effort in getting a refund. Maybe if I sent them the photos direct so they can see what a crappy fitting seat cover I was sent I'll get some type of positive reaction.
Streetglideinblue, May 11, 04:04 PDT: Well, CARiD's tactics are just no response. I need your supervisor's contact information. What should be a simple return of a crappy product has turned into a dramatic ordeal.

Hide quoted text Daniel Erickson, May 9, 12:48 PDT: I understand your frustration and if you were missing the anti slip pads I would am more than happy to send you the missing set. Since you are just looking for a refund at this point you would need to contact the dealer that you purchased these covers from because that is where the money changed hands, Coverking just builds and warranties the product in this case we do not handle the shipping or the dollars and cents. For your refund you need to call or email Carid
[email protected] for email (800) 505-3274 if you would like to call them I'm very sorry that there was an issue with your covers causing you to return the product. I have added notes to your order approving the return once you request one from your dealer Carid Coverking Support Team
|coverking.com/help Streetglideinblue, May 9, 11:33 PDT: Let me ask you, you've looked at the photos, would you want to keep these after paying what you charge for them? Your design department obviously didn't put much thought into these because if they had there would be zippers on the arm rest instead of the velcro and the would be heavier material an the back with grommets in it to actually anchor it to completely eliminate the slipping. There is apparently an issue with these slipping and if the solution is a foam pad then it should be added to the kit for free. As far as you trying to fill in missing information with your inquiry it only resulted in what appeared to be lip service because as I read back through the emails everything you asked was in them. Now let's get direct. No, I don't want these covers. I have messed with, adjusted and reinstalled these damn covers more than should have ever been necessary had they been designed properly. I also doubt, without modifications, these things will ever fit properly. I want you to refund my money because it's your product. If you're not the person that can do this then you need to forward that person's information to me.
Daniel Erickson, May 9, 07:34 PDT: I didn't offer you a resolution I was simply trying to gather the missing information from you so I could offer you one, Are you looking to keep the seat covers or are you looking for a return as you mentioned before? If you are looking to keep these I am more than happy to help you out if you want to work with us, is that what you would like to do now? Coverking Support Team
|coverking.com/help Streetglideinblue, May 9, 07:12 PDT: No I have not utilized any "anti-slip pad." If this was something that was needed to make these seat covers work it should have been included. There is absolutely no possible way to pull any more material through the crack between the back and seat bottom to keep the seat from rolling forward or get the velcro to even come close to closing around the seat belt. There is inadequate fastening or anchoring attachment to ever get these seat covers to stay in place let alone ever look half way decent. I don't care where the financial transaction took place, you made this product you should stand behind it. Now you know why folks avoid buying American made products. You seem to not understand my point. These look like crap, fitment is shabby at best, there's no way you can in good conscience look at the photos and say they look like $400.00 seat covers and CARiD is going to tell me to contact the manufacturer. Give me the next inline supervisor's contact information because this isn't a satisfactory resolution.
Daniel Erickson, May 9, 06:43 PDT: Hello My name is Daniel Erickson and I am the products and service manager here at Coverking. I'm very sorry to see that you have been having some instillation issues with your Coverking covers. Reading through the back and forth it looks like the agent was trying to see if you installed the anti slip pads but he never got a clear yes or no to that question. The reason why he was referring you back to Carid is that is the dealer where the financial transaction took place. Coverking is just the manufacture in this transaction, We did not take your credit card or ship this under our account. The only reason it was mentioned for you to contact them was because you stated: I've already shown the covers and how crappy they look on one forum I belong, how many more negative reviews am I going to have to post before you do the right thing. I want a full refund including the cost of shipping these covers back. Based on the above there is nothing else that we would be able to do for you directly. If you wanted to keep the covers and continue to work with the agent on finding a solution we are more than happy to do so. Quickly looking at the install the major issue is there needs to be more material tucked between the seat back ad bottom on the drivers side, I know you mentioned that the covers are slipping, are you able to tuck in that area and it slides out or are you not able to tuck it in at all? |coverking.com/help Streetglideinblue, May 8, 15:12 PDT: I knew that was coming. It's your product. You made them. You're not willing to stand behind it. Give me the name and contact information of the Corporate Office and the person I need to speak with there. Again, your resolution isn't acceptable.
Agent 5, May 8, 14:53 PDT: Hello, Thank you for contacting Coverking. I apologize for the inconvenience unfortunately this was not ordered from us directly. You would need to contact Carid to help you with this return. Thanks!! Coverking Support Team
|coverking.com/help Streetglideinblue, May 8, 14:00 PDT: I've watched it more than once. I've reinstalled them twice, constantly readjusted everything long before I contacted you. The design of these covers is poor, the velcro won't hold and the covers fit poorly. I've already shown the covers and how crappy they look on one forum I belong, how many more negative reviews am I going to have to post before you do the right thing. I want a full refund including the cost of shipping these covers back.
Agent 5, May 8, 13:49 PDT: Hello, Here is installation video, Please watch it before installation.
Also, The foam is our non-slip pad, did you receive it in the installation kit? Did you tuck it all the way back? (Pictures attached) Coverking Support Team |coverking.com/help Attachment(s) thumbnail_pastedImage.png
Streetglideinblue, May 8, 12:55 PDT: Well, I tried tucking all the elastic straps behind the plastic, but it just made the cover slide more. No I'm not using any foam pad and shouldn't have to purchase something additional that should have come with the covers if that's what is needed to make these covers work. I'm also calling BS on the taking time to settle part as well. It's just as I figured. You make a crappy product, charge a fortune for it, blame the consumer for poor insulation and since you have my money you laugh all the way to the bank. You've succeeded in just pissing me off more. No, you guys need to come up with a better solution. This one isn't satisfactory. I could have purchased a set of generic seat covers from Autozone, saved a ton of money and they wouldn't have looked any worse.
Agent 5, May 8, 12:40 PDT: Hello, Thank you for being patient with us. The areas behind the armrest will take time to settle in. All of the seat bottoms should be need tucked in behind the plastic seat base, including the elastic strap. Are you utilizing the foam pads to help stop the seat cover from slipping on the bottom? Thanks Coverking Support Team |coverking.com/help Streetglideinblue, May 8, 09:55 PDT: Thank you. Agent 5, May 8, 09:36 PDT: Hello, Thank you for your reply. I can confirm I have sent the pictures over the my design and quality team As soon as I hear back from them I will update you on how we will proceed with the resolution Coverking Support Team
