I replaced the bottom seat cover on my 2004 Tahoe a few years ago. It was actually fairly easy. Pay attention to how the cover connects to the bottom of the seat frame. I think that I tilted the seat back forward to unhook that backside of the seat cover. I then tilted the seat back all of the way back as far as it would go and then pulled the cover forward. I removed the heater element from the seat cover and then installed the new cover.
