Yeah we quickly got rid of the original one, and went to an umbrella style double stroller once they were old enough to sit up. That even fits in the Volt, so there is plenty of room in the Sub.

I'm wondering if I could swap out the leather seat bottoms from my front and second rows on the drivers side?

Fixing to have twins and the second row seat will have a car seat on it for quite some time. Be nice to have the hardy used seat cover up front.

man you're gonna love it! have twins boys and its truly amazing to see them grow play and bond together. the double strollers are dumb big doesn't fit behind do the third row seat of the Tahoe thank God wife has a town and country. we had the one their seats would snap into and that thing is a monster recently switched to a side by side umbrella stroller so much lights easier to push and best of all wayyy more compact. congrats on the twins bud, most amazing thing to ever happen to me!!

ps.make sure you get one of these!

I did the seat cover and foam swap from a second row to driver seat on a 2000 chevy astro van. I bought the entire 2nd row seat from a recycler. I swapped the bottom only, the only thing that was different was i had to cut a hole in the side for the lumbar adjust knob. I added an aftermarket seat heater too. I put the scrap yard seat back together with the slightly worn foam and cover, made a simple wood base for the frame, now it is in my sons room as a comfy recliner!

Yeah that is the one we had too, by the time they were about 8 months old we switched to the umbrella style. They were too long to fit in there in their car seats anyway. Also they both face forward in the umbrella stroller so they seem to like that one more now that they are more alert.

Past weekend at the PA Farm Show

On the ride home, all passed out (our boys and their cousin). That is a benefit of the bench, but a pain for my wife and sister in law to get in.

Nice! This makes me think there is hope! Guess all there is to do now is to just try it out. Doesnt look like pulling the cover is too hard from what I have seen online.

My stock driver heater is also shorted out so I will be installing a new one. I see that OEM are very expensive and seems like the would likely burn up again since so many people have problems with them unless GM changed the design? What heater did you go with?

Good idea on the recliner for the kiddo! That would be awesome to have.

I connot remember, but I ordered it on ebay for around $70
I did not have a hog ring tool, so I fastened the seat cover with industrial zip ties, lol. My chrysler pacifica driver seat bottom is cracking on the side and top of the side bolster, I need to do a cover swap on that too.
