hey everyone, I have a 1994 yukon gt 5.7 4wd. I started up the truck a few weeks ago because the weather here in Chicago was snowy and quite bad. I let it run for about 15 minutes to warm up first. I put it in drive and began to inch out the parking lot of my building.....next thing you know, i hear a loud noise and the front end just locks up and it come to a complete halt and I never applied the brakes. I give it gas, the rear is just spinning. I never engaged the 4wd, so i know it couldnt be something with that. I put it in park and pump the brakes and it goes away. So, now i figure its just because it was sooo cold outside maybe something froze up for a minute. After i pumped the brakes, the problem went away.....until about 50 feet later, it locked again.... but its only the right side and it pulled to the right.

When i got out, i saw i nthe snow that the right front tire was dragging. so i figure its just a frozen caliper. I just replaced both calipers (brand new from NAPA....lol $14 bux each) and the problem is STILL THERE!!! What do u guys think it is??? i've asked a couple friends, and they think it may be the combination valve or the brake lines are collapsing.....i know...i should have replaced the lines at the same time :emotions122: ....stupid me... thoughts??
