selecting right headers

I have a 1996 tahoe I'm looking for a pair of shorty heders that have a 3' collector that have the egr screw on tube but I can not find anything anyone help?

why mess around with shorties? Get some LT's

Do they make LT with the egr plug in? This damn egr tube is messing everything up lol

likely not. shorty header will still help and c.a.r.b. legal ones will have the egr fitting. and they will not likely have the pre-made set that fits the engine with egr line and also include a 3" collector. our pipes before the muffler are not that big.

Have one welded on to a set of LT's.
It's cheap and easy.

Find a nut that your oem egr crap will screw into, weld it on a primary! drill the hole and hook the egr up.

But yes, there are headers that have egr hookup on them. My bud just sold his truck with a set of ceramic coated egr LT's.

I do want to go with lt headers with a ceramic coating do you have. The link were ur buddy got them? Also iv also done so research and found a erg block off plate dos any one have any experience with these? Will it mess up how the motor runs? I really want to go with a true 3' exhaust system

you will throw codes and your combustion temps will be higher creating more pollution.
