Selector switch gets hot

I have a 2012 Yukon. The 4WD selector switch gets hot when it is in Auto or 4WD. Anyone ever heard of this on these vehicles?

I assume it's normal, I run my Tahoe in 2WD at all times, and my selector switch gets hot as well. I've never really worried about it.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one with the issue. I'm checking with a shop anyway to see what they say. I'll post their comments about it here.
