"Service Battery Charging System" warning

This is on a '07 Denali. I was checking some lights on a trailer and had the key in the power position(not running) for about 15 minutes. When I started it up, this error message was displayed. I let the truck run for 5 minutes and took it down the road but, the warning won't go away. This happened to me a few months ago when I installed a CAI and had to disconnect the battery for about an hour.

Do I have an issue or once the battery gets up to a full charge will this go away?

After a little driving, the light went off. I'm guessing it is on until the battery is fully charged.
