Service Engine Light..

I thought I remember reading a thread while back that said the push button 4x4 can read the service engine codes Is this true or am I crazy? lol

Thanks for any help, and the reason I ask is b/c my light recently came on when I was driving down the road. Just been stuck at the house and haven't had a chance to get it checked out yet.

never heard of it, i dont think the 4x4 button ties into the hard drive in that way
