I'm getting the "Service Ride Control" light. I have to make a long towing roadtrip in a week so I'd like to get it squared away. (2001 LT autoride)

I replaced the rear shocks with the airbag bilstiens. The compressor seems to be working fine. I checked the connections to the rear shocks.

What else could it be?

Did the message come up shortly after installing the new shocks or what?
I don't know if a handheld reader will pull any codes or not, but try it and see if you can get and codes. If so, what are they?

I had the code before the bilsteins. I also tried replacing one of the front level sensors and it didn't help

does anyone have a map of the vacuum hoses that run from the compressor to the shocks? This chiltons manual is useless.

Do you know what the specific code is?

Here is a picture of the schematic for the air tube. It is number 4.

Yeah I tried the battery trick.

Pep boys ran the codes for me and said it is tripping a code for the front left sensor. I already tried replacing that level sensor and it didn't work.

Do you happen to know how this air tube interfaces with the rubber hose that comes off the compressor? I'm trying to better understand this whole system. I noticed there's a tube going to the axle.
