"Service Trailer Brake System" and no backup camera at the same time

So I placed the vehicle in reverse and notice I had no camera. So I stopped turned the engine off and waited a few minutes and then started the engine. I noticed the "Service Trailer Brake System" and the backup camera still does not work. I did not have any trailer connected. I did some searching and found where some have replaced the Trailer Brake control module. But I can't even find it. Has anyone had this problem. Any advice you can give to help me track this down? My Highest Priority right now is the Trailer Brake problem since I tow a Camper from Time to time.

I hooked up my camper and verified that everything works except for the brakes. No Gain on the display.

I broke down and took it to the stealership. They found that there was a wire in the liftgate that was shorted causing the trailer brake system to short and the rear back up camera. They fixed it and now I am back up and running.
