the block and AAL is easiest.

Adam: I use a magnetic angle finder from Lowes. Check the angle of the drive shaft, then check the angle of the pinion. There are a few good write ups I found on line to help with this. Not super hard if you know what you are after.

idt I am, would I be better off with a 3" block and 2" aal?

The blocks and/or AAL don't have to be permanent and I think your splitting hairs over nothing. You gotta start somewhere so use what the kit comes with and go from there. Lift springs or a shackle flip can always be added later on.

thanks guys! would it be best with 4" in the rear? and 6" in the front to make it sit cali? I want slight cali but not to much! Im wanting to clear 35x12.50 or 13.50x18? with a rim that 18x9..4.5"bs and -11mm offset

I like this last plan. The 6" RCX kit comes with everyhting....just leave the AAL out

okay man can i clear 35x13.50x18 with the rims I want with that lift? with no rub what so ever? Or should I stick with 12.50?

No rub at all? depends on how you drive. I have 8+ inches of lift in the front of my tahoe and can rub the tires.

what size tires are you running? Even with 8" you rub?

35/12.5x17 tires. Rims are 17x9 with 4.5"BS. I drive my truck like I hate it, plain and simple. Ever heard the term rubbing is racing? Lifting and trimming go together like that. It is minimal trimming, just do it as needed. It is not a big deal, drive the truck, trim where the rubbing happens.
