Dropping the denali off to get the cam and all the goodies installed in a couple of weeks and was thinking about having them install a vette servo and shift kit since they already have it. I've got just under 150k miles and a tune with tighter shifts already. Wondering what the difference is between a stage 2 shift kit and a stage 1? Also should use both the servo and shift kit? Will the shifts become neck jurking and uncomfortable during my everyday driving?

Thanks for any input on this!

I got a BB Tune and vette servo, the servo is worth it. I bought mine for about $30 and installed it myself. It makes the shifts feel a lot better. More like a sports truck, and less stock and powerless. The 2-3 shift is way firmer for me, but my main goal was the 1-2 shift which got slightly improved. I am looking into a shift kit also, so I would like to hear what other people have to say. I am hoping to get a chirp at WOT during 1-2 shift, but for now, I can sometimes chirp around a corner if I manually shift 1-2 around 2000 rpm.

You can grab them from Oregon Performance.

If you are looking into shift kits, I would recommend the TransGo HDII.

What vette servo did u buy and part number please,,thanks

I bought mine on eBay awhile back. It came with B&M instructions, so i assume that is the brand. I cant find the item in my eBay history but im thinking of getting one from Oregon Performance so i know its a name brand i can trust.
