shifter spring

every time i shut off my truck i have to push back the shifter to get the key out is there a replacement spring i can change or do i have to replace the the entire shifter?

i would have figured somebody that switched their shifter to the escalade one might know the answer or at least some type of suggestion.

ok now due to this reason my key wont turn how easy is it to remove the cylinder from steering column

Wish I had the answer for you all, but haven't had to mess with the truck with that problem at all so I don't know!! Sorry!
