Truck came with coil springs on the rear and torsion bar upfront. Yes, I have Rancho with over 100.000 miles on it. That’s why I’m planning to replace it with new one. Just not sure what kind or brand I’m going with. Truck ride ok with the Rancho till I put heavy load on it. And I think the stock oem shocks came with it different with any other shocks.
OEM IS $245 on amazon. I bought them there, but they had a 20% off ac del o sale when I did, so they were just under $200 each. I waited 3 years for the deal though lol

Fyi, following inquisition thread a while back, I'm quite certain it's the g65 that means nivomat... g65 is "manual self-adjusting suspension". I have zw7 but no g65 and mine does not have nivomat. Every scrapyard vehicle I've seen with nivomat had the g65 RPO code. There you go. Zw7. Ninvomat.

The op also has g65 so he is definitely supposed to have nivomat shocks. He either needs to replace his coil springs or go back to using nivomat type shocks.
Front shocks are standard shocks on your vehicle.Does Monroe make front shock for the truck?
I don't think it's that rare. At least not in the later models. Not sure if the novelty of the nivomat wore off but I don't see many later models (04-06) with nivomat and I've never seen a long wheelbase later year with them.Very interesting. It seems that zw7 without G65 used an acdelco 540 series shock. I wonder how rare that is. I wonder about z55 without g69 then? Does it even exist?
