I have the 3.5" Rough Country on my Tahoe. I am looking at getting the Rancho rs7000mt shocks. The site says to be used with a 4" lift. Will installing these shocks give me 0.5" more lift and has anyone had any experience with these?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Running 33s now and would like just a tad more lift without having to go full blown 6-7" w/ 35s

lifted shocks

I am almost positive that that's not how it works. The weight of the vehicle will compress the shock and put stress on it. You would also lose some travel offloading. Although I have seen shocks for a 4 to 6 inch lift kit, so there has to be some room for play there. .05 probably won't make enough difference to matter. Let me know what else you find!

No, the shocks will not provide more lift.
