I'm ready to lower my truck but wanted to get some feedback in regards to the shock options/combos.
I had purchased McGaughys front drop shocks and have Bilstein/Arnott Autoride rear shocks.
My main concern is will having McGaughy front shocks and the Bilstein Autoride rear shocks affect the ride? Should I swap the rear to match the front? Has anyone done it like this or have you always matched up the shocks? My goal was to be dropped and have the adjustability of the Autoride.
This what I would end up with right now for a 4/5 drop:
Front
- McGaughys drop shocks
- McGaughys Spindle
- Belltech Alignment Kit
Back
- Belltech 5305 Spring (cutting dead coils)
- Bilstein Autoride (Arnott) shocks
- DJM Hardware kit and endlinks
- Spohn Panhard bar
