So, my fronts are blown. Yippie... (couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present - actually brakes are shot too but that is a different thread). Anyway, looking for some advice. I have been reading a bunch of threads, and figure I will go for a drop while replacing necessary crap. 07 yukon denali w/ autoride... I figure a kit is the way to go, and I saw Tony's kit:

I am rolling on the stock chrome 20's, I figure that drop would be plenty considering I don't have rims. I would like to have increased performance as well as a drop, so if there are any other kits you all would recommend, lemme know. I am also going to be purchasing the wilwood BBK from BBP w/ brake lines - total transformation =D

I would want to keep autoride. Also I would want to keep towing ability - what all else would I need (helper bags)?

No bags needed. With 5 of us in my truck and towing my ctsv there is no issues.

Right now I am leaning towards the 2/3 setting. I saw in another thread someone mentioned that while the door handles are parallel, they are staggered. That is something I have never noticed before, but I don't want the truck to 'appear' to have a perceived lean (if that makes sense). Another concern would be whether to line up the wheel well gap or the trim molding being parallel to the ground. If it is still raked I can live with that so long as it is lowered. :) Of course if I see it and change my mind, so be it, lol.

Also - order being placed - thanks bud.

I just installed this same kit from Tony on my wife's 08 Escalade with 24" replicas. Tony is great to work with and was incredibly helpful!

The truck rides and handles awesome, though lowering it did kinda exaggerate the fact that my stock shocks and struts were done. I ordered the Arnott Bilstein shocks and struts and they are being installed on Thursday along with the Free Travel Mod.

I adjusted the links to where the rear is about an inch higher than the front. I think once the new shocks are installed, I'll bring it down a little more.

I don't have any really good after pics but you can really tell the difference.
