Shop Recommendation in N.VA

Great Posts; am new to the forum and have been reading through and got some great suggestions; Thanks to all the contributors.

Am looking for a good repair shop in Northern Virginia, South Fairfax county area for my 2006 Yukon Denali. I need a lot of work done and will appreciate inputs on the best shops in the area. I've been to the dealership in Alexandria and Woodbridge and am not so please with their services.

Hi Tee,

Honestly the dealership service centers around these parts aren't very good. I take my truck to Ourisman Chevy GMC in Alexandria cause that's the best of a bad lot. If you're looking at an independent service center, although I haven't used them myself, Curry's seems to get a lot of positive reviews.

What type of repairs do you need done? I know a good suspension shop, a great paint shop and some guys that do good LS engine work. Just depends what you want to do.

What's a good suspension shop for drops and such?

The only one I know around here is Trick Trucks and they're under-qualified thieves.

For lowering I would stick with no limit in Baltimore,MD they specialize in lowering trucks and @ OP a good shop that I know of is in Alexandria, VA called Tony's automotive very good customer service back when I was haveing problems with my wilwood kit locking up on me I took it to several shops which it spent endless overnights and no one could tell me what was wrong. I took it to Tony's and they called me with in 3hrs saying my truck was ready.

I need my pressure gauge checked, its pegged at 0 all the time, evap sensor checked, it keeps reporting "tighten fuel cup", replacing fuel cup didn't help. and CAM and seal replacements etc

It's right off of Rt.1 towards pentagon mall .If your coming from 495 it's before you get to the Target in kingstowne shopping center right next to that McDonald's before the bridge

i would check with blackbear as well. They used to live in Alexandria and might know of a few places as well.
