Does anyone know of quality ceramic shorties that have the air bung on the passenger side? I found Gibsons but bung is on wrong side. How is this remedied? I'm looking for a real simple bolt in application. I called Thorly and talked to the fabricator and he said they are no longer making the Tri-y mid for the 4x4, only 2x4, due to low demand.

unknown at this time.
perhaps if you look outside of just ceramic you might find other options. Edelbrock for example make shorties for 4wd. But you may find it difficult for the 1999 models.

Concerning the O2s, that's what I meant by how is it remedied. How can you extend the O2s? Or I guess you could cut off the bung and weld into other side? But as I said, I would love to find a true, simple bolt in application. I will call Edelbrock.

I have JBA shorties in stainless. Probably the best header i've ever owned and the easiest to put in.

Trying to avoid the welding. Hey Phoneman, are the JBA's plug n play? Is the air bung on the correct side? And why do companys make headers with the bung on the wrong side anyway? Thank you everyone.

to have a bung welded in will only cost ya 10 bucks or so from a shop...

Cap the one you have now (bung) and weld in a new one.. problem solved.. also install the header you want the new o2 bung installed on and make sure you have enough clearance!!
