I am guessing that he is looking for a used one either way and is only worried about if the new style will affect the price of a used one.

Oh. I saw "12" and guessed he meant a new one.
If he is looking for a used one go ahead and scoop it now because the prices will not change new model or not like Yates said.

I would go ahead and start looking for one, and not hold out. Keep in mind the luck of the draw factor too...

You find one cheap (er) and have no problems out of it, or pay more for one and have a lot of problems with it....

Or vice versa...
