I've got a 2001 tahoe 4wd and I just bought 285 75 bf mud terrains. They fit great. I'm considering lifting her but I don't want her to look likebher shoes are too small. And I don't want to fork out another $1500 for new rubber. So pretty much how much do y'all think she should be lifted?
Thanks!

What size wheel have you got? Post some pics so we can get an idea of what we think you should do.

I wouldnt do more than keys and spacers.

If you want a 4" or 6" lift, I would sell the new rubber (while its new) to buy bigger.

Cant post pics just yet. Been workin. I should have pics tomorrow. But im thinking about the keys and spacers. What brands should i be looking for? And is this something i should tackle myself? Or should i take it to a shop?

Thanks again for replying!

ebay keys are fine. spacers or longer shocks are a plus. Its easy to do yourself. get the right tool to compress the keys. Everyone uses a 7 ton puller borrowed from an autoparts store. I bought the proper tool just to be safe.

if you wanna go big, do as brucebruce did. If you want a mild lift, go keys and spacers. No need to drop the cash on a lift unless you go big.

Yours looks fine the way it is. For comparison, here's mine with 33s, keys, 1" spacers. I didnt want to go high with small tires, so i kept it mild.
