we had in dash GPS in old truck, and it went obsolete before we got it figured out.

got a little used $300 Garmin for $100 off Fleabay, it was too far away from the wife on the windshield.

so we stuck on the fake plastic woodgrain, and tucked the wire in the slot where all your mail falls (we found mail in there ~2 years old from previous owner) and routed up the glove box.

lemme know what you guys did.

You could buy a Pro.Fit Legend VSM Mount, then buy a device holder made specifically for your device. You just pop the bezel off, then drill two holes in the plastic dash behind the bezel, screw it in, then pop the bezel back on, and you're finished! I have the Pro.Fit Legend VSM mount in my Tahoe for my iPhone, and I must say, I'm really happy with it. It's very sturdy, doesn't shake, etc. Here's a photo of mine.

A quick search on Crutchfield yielded the following result, Pro.Fit Adapter Plate for Garmin I'm not 100% sure that this will work with your specific GPS unit, but, at least I (tried) to help. :).
