Did the LS7 throttle body help performance? Why did you swap it out for the LS7.... What are the pros and cons?
I swapped it out mostly because I wasn't confident in the original one anymore it was giving me a little feedback here and there I had just had a brand new motor put in and it was still the original throttle body and I just like the design of it compared to the original and because it's just a "C" hair bigger (90mm) and it fit nicely with the K&N Blackhawk, if your using a stock intake it wont fit without making some cuts, I really couldn't say if there is any real noticeable performance difference but I like it, I drove A 5.3 for 10 years kicking myself in the butt for not buying the 6.2, now I have the 6.2 and its a beast! I love it, so any little thing I can do to help give it that little extra without spending a ton of money is kind of self satisfying more than anything else I guess. on a side note it gets up and scoots I kinda accidently pulled out in front of someone today and I got all 4 tires to squeal and spun it around in perfect position for a red light, lol that was my excitement for today.

Just wanted to share I added my first dosage of Dr Tranny (2 oz) and still testing but definitely an improvement with driving. I didnt experience the initial rough ride (yet) but put about 5-10 miles and I did feel a little shudder in the beginning but seems to be improving. I'll be doing a lot of driving this weekend so will see if it completely goes away (if it hasnt already).

Awsome.....but you won't experience rough idle from my experience, maybe a worse shudder here and there, but give it till overnight, and you will see a much better improvement. Remember, I put 2 (2ounce tubes) but maybe should have been more patient and let just 1 tube work it's way around. If you feel the need for 2, then it's just another 2 ounces). It's not like a big amount and it's not like your Tahoe will get addicted to it like ****** lol. I hoping the best for you. My son last night riding with me said my Tahoe is running smooth. He used to say, "I felt the shudder" not anymore.....

Glad to hear others that frequent the truck also feel the difference.

I bought a 2 pack so just patiently waiting to see if more will be necessary. A second is recommended if there is still shudder after the first. Doesnt say how long to wait but I'll definitely give it enough time. If there is shudder after that, I think a trans flush is recommended with added shudder fixx.

@Vegasmarc21 it didnt completely fix issue...yet. I put a lot of miles over the weekend, Im guessing over 200 miles. There has been improvements in certain scenarios but once in a while if I try to recreate the issue, I can.

In the past, if I'm going up a descent incline with a little gas just to keep speed constant, I would get a shudder to the point that I need to go more aggressive just to make it up the bill. Now, it doesnt require me to go harder or let go of gas temporarily. I dont have to change my behavior anymore to drive. Also, the shudder has improved but it still exists.

May be a second dose is needed if you already haven't done so...also power wash your brake rotors with brake clean and a high pressure hose right after, you would be surprised how much drag brakes have.

I didnt put a second dose in yet but I will say the driveability has greatly improved, so much that there really isnt any shudder but as you mentioned (probably before your second dose), once in a while you will get surprised with a shake/shudder which could be some other vibration but it has happened. It has been a while since I felt one but did notice one long after adding the shudder fixx. I put almost 300 miles since adding and I do not regret going this route. Granted I havent done any hard driving, towing, or anything for that matter that would exert more than average wear on tranny other than long distance driving. It didnt even happen at the worst/predicted times, but rather just out of nowhere unlike before where I could create the issue. Will keep testing though

Keep driving...it should get better and better....people actually put this stuff on their brand new cars because they liked how well it worked on their cars before.
