And just so you guys know.... that "6-bar mod" worked GREAT today when I had to carry a door on top of my XL. I was able to pick up the door and slide it across easily, never having to worry about it falling down between the bars and scratching my roof.

I actually did the 4-bar on my old Suburban for the specific reason of keeping the handle for my aluminum trim brake from falling down between the bars when I was transporting it.
