Put these on all my rides-fits perfect on the 04 tahoe windsheild.$20 for no wires running from your out let up the dash is worth it.You will want to leave about a 1/2 inch gap on top of radar if you have an ****** like mine. Then you put anything in that space and the radar becomes very sturdy-like it belongs their out of the way-jumper wired from mirror- power and ground.

Interesting concept. It beats the suction cups that sporadically fall off. I bet I could use something like that to modify to make a couple of mounts for my V1.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Permane...ash=item1c7041552b:g:Z~kAAOSwc1FXbokW&vxp=mtr This should do the trick-and use the power jumper from the other link and your good to go.The jumper just pushes the pins into your mirror plug no splicing.! word of wisdom make dam sure you mount it in the right spot you wont be able to remove that adhesive without an air hammer.

Cool! Thanks for the link! I couldn't find a V1 mount in the seller's "see other items" link and assumed they didn't offer one because of the V1's cradle thing being obnoxiously proprietary. But I see what they have there and it's geniusly simple. Funny you mention the power jumper- I finally made one last weekend. Just ran a black phone cord from the mirror area, across the headliner (tucked inside), down the A-piller behind the trim, and tapped a switched circuit in the side of the dash. This was easier and quicker for me instead of probing wires in a small and short harness behind the mirror. This mount would make switching the V1 between my work van and Tahoe much easier. Just gotta get an extra stock V1 suction cup mount off ebay. Thanks again.
