HI Guy's

Great forum,

I just became the proud owner of a 1996 GMC Yukon, 5.7, 4wd, its has 375,000 km's but has been well maintained. This is a 3rd veichle for me to pull my boat and camper and the price was right . After going throug it and getting it ready for safety I notices what I thought was a slight hesitation as I started from a dead stop.

After driving it a few times I realized somthing wasn't right as I came to a complete stop as well. This lead me to believe that the hesitation was not fuel related but more of somthing that felt like slop in the rear end. The hesitation is vey suddle almost as if it had a slight miss as you gave it gas. It happens just as you start from a dead stop and just as you come to a complete stop.

I read a few posts that sounded similar that suggested removing the drive shaft and greasing the spline. Sounds like a good place to start. Is there anything else I should check?

The 2 symptoms happen just as I start and just at the split second I come to a stop.

Thanks for the help!
