Has anyone used the SLP truck muffler? I am considering a Flowmaster muffler or cat back exhaust swap but thought this might be a little different than everyone else on the road. Looks like you can get the truck muffler from SLP for around $105 after shipping. The shipping itself is $25. The muffler was originally priced at $229.

Here is what the SLP site says. It looks like the stock muffler inlet is in the center I am wondering if the offset will cause problems.

"This is a GM 1500 Series stainless steel muffler with a single 3" inlet and dual 2 1/2" outlets. Muffler body measures 21" long and 12" wide. Makes a great universal muffler for that custom exhaust application, the sound is deep and muscular. "

I've never used the SLP muffler.... I've got a Flowmaster 70 Big Block Series on my HOE. I'm not sure what year ya' got, but my '99 had dual (i believe 2 1/2") input, and a single 3" output.
Check and see if Youtube has any sound clips posted up of that SLP muffler installed.

My first exhaust sound clip is below.... I have 2 vid's posted... different spark plugs.

I went ahead and went with a flowmaster 50 stainless. I was unsure if the offset would be off a problem or not. I also didn't want to risk not liking the sound even thought it would have went nicely with the SLP intake.
