Cool. I'm happy with mine only down fall is it blocks my screen. The reason I passed on the model you got was because of the button release that is behind the phone. Glad you like it though.

I prefer the suction cup windshield mounts like the one above. Never had a problem with them.

And it still moves around quite a bit.

Works actually not too bad with the standard size iphone, but does not work at all with a bigger size Samsung S4.

I used to just do that when I had an iphone.

I use a Kenu Airframe+. I fabricated a small metal bracket that slips under the dash bezel to hold it in place. The Kenu slides into my bracket and it's very sturdy, can mount/remove my iPhone 6+ with one hand. I plastidipped the bracket I made to make it black and provide a soft finish so it doesn't scratch the dash.
