I got an extra pair of tails that are stock, and I want to either smoke or candy them. I like both looks a lot. I don't want to have to be worried about being pulled over, so if I went smoked it would lighter, not black out. Currently front lights are stock and depending on what I do with the rears I will do with the fronts. As if I candy them I will just shine-up the front for a nice clean stock look or clear diamond cuts, if I smoke them I will do the same in the front.

What do you guys think?

Also I will be debadging and I think I am going to put on the 2000 Yukon badges on the sides and rear.

If you are truly that worried, then leave them stock. Any mods to the tail lights/blinkers (any safety equipment really) and you are rolling the dice.

Im not freaking out worried, just wouldnt go black out. Would lightly smoked stock lights even look that good then? I have seen some newer trucks with the lightly smoked stocks and it looks good, but dont the newer truck tails have a different finish to start than our OBS do?

I think they are clearer lenses then the old trucks. I went with nice aftermarket lights out back. I'll match the fronts with something nicer eventually. :D

I've seen a few smoked OBSs that looked ok.
