WOW! I guess for the miles on your trucks the engine is really not that old. my 99 just turned 116k, BUT the engine looks nowhere near that clean. I was gonna clean my bay once but the mechanic told me the layer of crud was a like a second skin to the computer!! LOL

A SECOND SKIN OF CRUD FOR THE COMPUTER.

This may become my new excuse for not keeping my engine clean.

N O T !!!!!!!!!

You already knew that!!!!

An instructor of mine once said that the Allies made a huge mistake when they bombed Germany.

He said that all that needed to be done was to load the FLYING FORTRESS Bombers full of SH@T, GARBAGE, DIRT and whatever else kind of TRASH one would find.

The Germans would have brought each and every soldier back from the Front Lines in order to help clean up Germany. :rotflmao:

Absolutely: Drive that new rig of yours out my way for a nice vacation in Cali. Have the back seat folded down and the cargo area full of Blue Moon or Shock Top and I will explain to you while taking care of the cold adult beverages as to HOW to keep that engine clean. :)

Piston slap, wind noise on drivers side window (some people say they have this, I dont), blown speaker on passenger rear door, umm i think thats it.

Im OCD/**** but look for the ones that have the bumper hitch cover. I lost mine during a move and its driving me crazy looking at it naked

All vehicles have their particular/specific historical issues ... on the NNBS GM full size SUVs, some of the most documented ones are:

- Cracked dash
- Lock actuators
- Loose/rattling rear windows

But if you find an 08 Denali that's evaded these issues, they are unlikely to surface at this point.
