So, I was wondering if the brake components for a PPV and SSV the same?

Depends on the year, but on my 2011, I understand the only difference between my PPV and consumer Hoes was the pads. So, I was wondering if the brake components for a PPV and SSV the same?
I’ve had thecopcar for 5 1/2 years now. Just over 40k miles. I haven’t had to touch the brakes since I got it.high temperature seals and semi metallic pads. that is the only difference.
ppv pads last me maybe a year.
I upgraded to baer erradispeed rotors and ceramic pads, the ceramic pads make it almost 2 years usually
bought these calipers about 3 years ago they seem to be holding up fine so far
shows how I drive by comparison, lol I probably drive mine harder than the cops do.....I’ve had thecopcar for 5 1/2 years now. Just over 40k miles. I haven’t had to touch the brakes since I got it.
Interesting. I can’t imagine there’s any significant weight difference between them.shows how I drive by comparison, lol I probably drive mine harder than the cops do.....
only the Silverado brakes last a little longer I think they are approaching 4 years, not sure why must have something to do with the vehicle dynamics I do not drive it any less harder than I do the yukon, they both only show 9.5mpg sometimes less
