I’ve had thecopcar for 5 1/2 years now. Just over 40k miles. I haven’t had to touch the brakes since I got it.
My SSV just turned 210k. Original shocks. They are still working as intended. No bad tire wear, good stiff ride, good cornering, they're still keeping the tire contact patch solidly on the pavement. Believe me, I've been looking for an excuse to replace them but they just keep giving.

one of my fronts started leaking about 190k, so I replace the shocks. You can't but PPV struts, so I did the whole spring compressor thing to do it. I did the rears a few months later just because I figured they were due to give up the ghost.

shows how I drive by comparison, lol I probably drive mine harder than the cops do.....
only the Silverado brakes last a little longer I think they are approaching 4 years, not sure why must have something to do with the vehicle dynamics I do not drive it any less harder than I do the yukon, they both only show 9.5mpg sometimes less
Well if you drive them hard. Then I must be some mad max style driving. I get 6-8 months out of mine. And that's metal scraping metal.

using semi-metallic? or composite? the composites last me 6 months, semi-metallic maybe a year, ceramic about a year and half basically
the cheap pads are composite bottom of the barrel stuff.

I used the carbon fiber ceramic Z36 power stops. And EBC brakes just about every color.
