so bad news for my tranny

ok so as of today. my truck wont shift into 2nd unless i let off the gas. how bad is this and what can i do to fix it?

oh and if it matters, its like 10 out. when it started happening it was about -10 out.

ok... well i foind out some info. my tranny checks out, i have a 2nd gear. i just have to go wot in first and let off the gas for it to shift into 2nd. im being told its my tranny control systems. my throttle position sensor is acting up, and my teacher said that would cause the delayed shift im getting.

Wish I could give you some suggestions, but I dont know too much about trannys. Sorry bud, hope someon else knows a little something

I just went through this samething. now granted I have a 700R4 but I can tell you this pull the codes it can be the tps. personaly mine was much worse. you can see my discussion in the genral box titled tranny wont shift.
