I dont know if you are going big brand name but ebay has an entire kit for a 100. Its inner and outer, pitmen, idle, upper and lower ball joints.....Purchasing the parts yourself will make the price go down....

That is true. I hit a rough patch with my 99 Denali (before the Burb) where I dumped about $3k into it within about 2 months. It sucked at the time but it drove like a new ride for a long time after that with no issues :)

That's what I'm doing right now :) New autoride compressor this week & rear shocks in shipping, I should have replaced ball joints and shocks in the front too, but it'll have to wait a little bit

I think I have screwdrivers, socket set and maybe a hammer.. Not much more than that.. HAH!

A decent socket set and hammer is pretty much all the tools you'll need :)
