ive got a friend wanting to do it on a manual seat. would you think it would be the same?

Maybe,but if looks anything like mine does in the pics he won't be able to do it.

Man I wish I knew, it would be nice to able to do this mod but can't. I think the only way is other then what I stated in my early post,would be to upgrade to a seat bracket thats like what most of you have.

Nope not that I know of. I got power seats a lumbar support in both seats thats it, maybe because that part is manual,thats the only thing that maybe different!

Your lumbar is manual? oh...hmm...wonder why they did that...thats the only difference? odd.....

Your seat bottom tilts the front up and down? and the back up and down?

Yup its manual, yup the bottom seat does that tilts the front up/down and the rear is the same. Strange isn't!
