I brought in and the left side is where I heard the noise.. I told him, just replace both.. don’t think twice… well of course he didn’t… so I drove a mile and turned around and said.. cmon man… this was the right side… hahaha… what a picture!

Who in the world would put wood smoker pellets in their hub assembly? Probably smelled nice once it got hot enough to let some hickory out.

Yeah, they're sealed bearings. Replaced the originals along with all front and components at about 174,000 mi as preventative maintenance. Still look good at that mileage, so the OEM ones are probably worth buying. (I had already purchased the Moog heavy duty ones.... We will see)
